How to automate Facebook posts with Smarter Queue

Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest… teacherpreneurs do it all. But do we truly have time to put 100% effort into each social media platform? When I learned about the power of automating posts on each platform, my social media game completely changed.

I am going to tell you today about Smarter Queue, which will automate Facebook for you. “Set it and forget it” will now be the best quote to describe your effort and work on Facebook once you start using this Facebook automation system.

What if you could show up multiple times a day to Facebook, without every having to actually show up? Smarter Queue is going to do this for you. You can have more posts per day, with no additional work.

Please note that this post contains an affiliate link to Smarter Queue. This means that if you choose to sign up, I receive a referral commission from Smarter Queue at no cost to you. However, I only recommend products that I use and absolutely love.

What does Smarter Queue do?

Do you know that only 5% of anything that you post on social media (like Facebook or Instagram) is ever seen? All that hard work you do curating and putting together your posts is essentially for nothing. However, getting an automated scheduler like Smarter Queue makes all this time you spend work again and again and again
Have you heard of Evergreen content? This is content that is always relevant year round…. just like an evergreen tree retain their leaves year round.

The most important thing you can do on social media? JUST. SHOW. UP. Consistency is 100% the key to cultivating a social media presence and following.

Ever wonder how some of your favorite teacherpreneurs somehow “Show up” several times a day on your Facebook feed? Dollars to donuts, it’s because of a Facebook scheduler like Smarter Queue. They are not sitting around and waiting to push “post” several times a day!

Smarter Queue allows you to be present without actually being present. You can have multiple posts per day without ever needing to push “publish.”

Do you like the sound of that?? Smarter Queue is a complete game-changer.

How does Smarter Queue work?

First, create categories. My categories are Products, Teacher Tips, Blog Posts, Amazon links, Mailing List, Sunday, and Friday
Next, start filling up your categories with posts.
Any links that you put in are automatically converted in Bit.Lys to make prettier links.

In the screen cap below, you can see my queue is ready to go with a multitude of blog posts, products, and teacher tips.

I have Smarter Queue post five times a day for me (one for blog post, one for Amazon links, one for teacher tips, one for products, and one for mailing list). Smarter Queue alternates the time each day of the week that each category is posted. You can pick however many posts per day that you would like.

Smarter Queue cycles through your posts. So if you have 100 items in your Products category and have it post 7 times a week about products, then after about 15 weeks it will restart with the cycle. But don’t worry about repeating content… again only 5% of your audience ever sees your posts. You utilize a calendar with each category.

As you can see in the picture below, every category of mine posts every day, but I rotate the times that Smarter Queue posts it.

Every time I create a new product, I add it into my “Products” category. Every time I write a new blog post, I add it into my “Blog Post” category. All my content is in Smarter Queue and ready to be rotated through.

How will Smarter Queue Help a Teacherpreneur?

Smarter Queue completely changed the Facebook game for me.

Why? It finally allowed me to batch my posts ONE single time.

Batching is going to be the best time saver that a teacherpreneur can do. Putting all your content into a program at once saves you hours… even days. No more sitting around scheduling Facebook posts.

Overall, adding all my posts and content to Smarter Queue has taken several hours. But I’d rather spend several hours up front than five minutes every single day brainstorming a post. Now, I only need to add new content into Smarter Queue when I create a new blog post or a new product.

Smarter Queue vs. Meet Edgar

I have heard AMAZING things about Meet Edgar and its interface. I originally was going to use this instead of Smarter Queue. HOWEVER… there is a massive price difference. It made sense to me to save some money and go with Smarter Queue since all the online research I did said that the two programs are very similar
If you read about Meet Edgar and it appeals more to you – by all means, go for it! The interface looks great, but at this time I chose to save some money and go with Smarter Queue. I recommend this same route for other teacherpreneurs as well.

Doesn’t Facebook engagement go down with a scheduler?

I have heard this from a lot of other teacherpreneurs… and maybe it does. But you know what? If I didn’t have an automated scheduler, I would either be wasting a ton of my time that could be spent designing content, or I just wouldn’t be doing anything on Facebook. I can have multiple posts per day without wasting time during the day reinventing the wheel.

It’s personally not my cup of tea to manually schedule Facebook posts... I have too many other things to do! Splitting your time between social media accounts isn’t easy. Smarter Queue will take some of that work off your plate.

I have terrific engagement on Facebook, and Smarter Queue is the number reason for that. Engagement will always be higher posting compared to NOT posting.

Is Smarter Queue free?

Smarter Queue is not free, but it is also relatively inexpensive for a basic plan to schedule Facebook posts. You can pay $16.99 a month, $33.99 a month, or $67.99 a month. I pay for the $16.99 a month and have been super happy with it. I think for most teacherpreneurs, this is all you need to do.
